Projects under this focus area aim to enhance access to learning opportunities for children in vulnerable community contexts, reduce school dropout rates, and support value-based education through strengthened grassroots institutions.

Project Title:
Madhav Siksha Kendra:
A Pathways to Learning value based education for Migrant & Rural Children

Location:
Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh

About the Project:
Sewa Bridge Foundation engaged with Trikuta Sewa Sansthan, a grassroots organisation working in rural communities around Varanasi to support the education of children from migrant families through its Madhav Shiksha Kendra initiative.

Many children from migrant and economically vulnerable families face irregular schooling and higher risk of dropout due to mobility, limited parental support, and unstable access to structured learning environments.

Madhav Shiksha Kendras aim to provide supplementary learning support while also inculcating sanskars and value-based education within community settings.

Through the Madhav Shiksha Sanskar Kendra network, the initiative provides flexible learning spaces that strengthen foundational literacy, numeracy, life skills, and value-based education (sanskar).

Operating across 40 centres and reaching over 2,000 children, 60% girls and 80% from marginalised communities, the initiative also supports transition into formal schooling, with more than 5,000 children.

By creating stable and value-oriented learning environments, the initiative strengthens educational continuity and builds confident, responsible futures for children across 220 villages.
